Chaotic week
Fall came the night between Sunday and Monday. Around the time a SAS flight left the US border the sky opened and the temperature dropped from the 90's to the 50's. Monday offered inches and inches of rain, and the winter felt awfully close. Dark, cold and lonely. Two used breakfast plates still decorated the kitchen table and breathed emptiness. But then, suddenly, on my way home from Blockbusters after renting a sad movie: LIGHT! They have decorated every tree in The Village with thousands and thousands of lights. It was just beautiful. And completely turned my day around. Christmas is close.
You who know me know what this week has been offering. But now things can only get better. Tomorrow I am leaving for Philadelphia and a customer meeting on Friday morning. Unfortunately this abrupt decision made me having to stay in tonight - missing out on a Pumpking Carving Night at M's. But Halloween is coming up soon, and at least I will be able to go to whatever party might pop up then! And then in the beginning of November I am going to Phoenix for a conference. Time in the US is running out, and I'd better start booking my planned weekend trips: San Fransisco and the mountains of Colorado. I will also try to get to Montreal and visit S+G+T. There is so much more to see though, Yellowstone, the Redwood forest, Grad Canyon.... But I can't do it all. And - after all - the most important of all trips is the one of my inner soul. And Saas-Fee. ;-)
